Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider. While this unfortunately means I cannot provide in-network insurance benefits, you may be able to be reimbursed for out-of-network benefits by your insurance company if you submit a receipt called a “superbill,” which I can provide monthly upon request. Superbills do require a diagnosis, but client and clinician will talk through the diagnosis together in session before generating the superbill.

How do I pay for the session, and when will payment be collected?

Cash and credit cards are accepted forms of payment. If you are using a credit card, you will need to be on file in our HIPAA compliant system, Simple Practice (where you will also submit your paperwork and schedule). Please fill out the online form or bring the card in during your first session. HSA accounts are also accepted and a receipt can be provided if needed. Sessions will be billed at the end of the day in which the session occurred.

Is there a cancellation policy?

If you are unable to attend a session, please reschedule 48 hours before your session. Clients who cancel closer to their session time than 48 hours, will be charged the full rate. If you are not feeling well, you will not be charged for the late cancellation, though telehealth (phone or video) is an excellent option so you can still have your planned session while protecting against the spread of illness.
